When buying a custom piece of jewelry from a jewelry store, there are multiple people involved in the transaction, usually starting with the sales person, which is then relayed to the store owner or bench jeweler, which is then relayed to the designer. This can often result in miscommunication and wishes not being fully met. I know this because I have spent most of my career designing jewelry for other stores. When you work directly with me, you don't need to communicate with multiple people and things are not lost in translation. You can tell me exactly what you want and I will be the one designing your piece. You can ask questions throughout the process with open communication and will receive direct and honest recommendations tailored to your goals and your specific budget.
Complete Confidence In Your Purchase
There's no reason to be nervous about the custom design process and what to expect when you're not purchasing a finished piece of jewelry. I will meet with you in person or virtually to learn the most important things to you for your dream ring before I design it. Then, I will provide photo realistic and video realistic renders of your design for your approval. I will also 3-D print a physical prototype for you to see and hold in your hands before we move forward with casting the finished gold or platinum ring and setting diamonds or gemstones. This client wanted a timeless platinum three stone engagement ring with a pear cut center diamond and tapered baguette accent diamonds, finished with exquisite claw prongs and a v-prong on the center diamond. This custom designed engagement ring centers around a stunning emerald cut diamond. The band has baguette cut accent diamonds decreasing in size from the top to the bottom of the ring to get a tapered look with classic straight baguettes. This required me to surface model the band to get the cleanest look possible. To see a video of me designing this ring, click here.
This ring was inspired by multiple design elements from multiple rings to artfully craft a custom designed engagement ring. This ring has design accents on either side of the split shank engagement ring. The center diamond is a two carat diamond that is lively and vibrant. Working together with this client and her now fiance, was an absolute pleasure, and I love how unique and beautiful this design turned out to be! This custom designed organic bypass pear cut engagement ring was specifically crafted to follow the shape of the beautiful center pear cut diamond. The yellow gold frame of the ring displays a vintage hand made look, with a modern twist. I designed this ring by surface modeling the band of the ring for a perfect match of the contours of the diamond's cut. It was finished with a three prong head with rounded claw prongs at the client's request. This is a solitaire that is anything but plain, but more akin to artistry that she can adorn every day. This amazing engagement ring uses only elongated cut diamonds to radiate the true beauty of them. The oval center diamond and marquise accent diamonds compliment each other perfectly as the angles of light refracting off of each facet to bring forth the spectacle of the geometry of cut diamonds, the way they are supposed to be. The platinum setting and claw prong finish left a spectacular finished product that I had to include in my video portfolio for its beauty and uniqueness!
